In her new role she oversees the experimental programme at Open Targets, with projects ranging from functional characterisation of inflammatory bowel disease through single cell transcriptome profiling in systemic lupus erythematosus patients to CRISPR screens in cellular models for neurodegenerative diseases.

The Open Targets post-GWAS analysis pipeline
In one of its latest publications, Open Targets presented a pipeline, that compares GWAS results to a collection of cis-regulatory datasets. This pipeline was fed into an interactive data resource. The interactive web interface can be used to examine the evidence supporting the candidate causal genes. Find more information here
